Construction on the Victoria Park Station Bus Terminal Replacement Project is continuing. One component of the project is the addition of a new automatic entrance/exit at the east side of the station to the Teesdale community.

To enable the contractor to safely work in this area without impacting subway service, hoarding will be installed. Due to the close proximity to the subway main line tracks, and to ensure the safety of the workers, it will be necessary to install the hoarding in the early morning hours when the subway is closed (see night work schedule below for details).

Night Work Schedule:

• Sunday, May 2 – from 2:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.;
• Thursday, May 6 – from 2:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.;
• Friday, May 7 – from 2:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.;
• Saturday, May 8 – from 2:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m.; and
• Sunday, May 9 – from 2:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Depending on the progress of work, one additional night may be required:

• Sunday, May 16 – from 2:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. (only if necessary).

Note: In the event of a schedule change due to unforeseen circumstances, notice of alternate dates to complete this work will be provided.

Noise

All efforts will be made to minimize noise. However, construction noise will be apparent when certain construction equipment is in full operation. Some noise may also be generated from construction vehicles and the use of hand-held power tools.

Controls

The work will be supervised by EllisDon Construction. TTC Construction personnel will also be on site for the duration of the work.
