Count Me In Toronto - Support the West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre!

Dear Ward 35 Resident,

Toronto Hydro has launched a community-based challenge to all 44 wards in Toronto. The purpose is to generate awareness of electricity conservation in general, and overall participation in Toronto Hydro programs aimed at reducing electricity use.

The winning ward will receive an energy retrofit to a public building in its area. I have nominated the West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre (WSNCC) as the building to receive the retrofit should Ward 35 win the challenge. The WSNCC is home to many of Scarborough Southwest's most valuable programs like the West Scarborough Boys & Girls Club, Ontario Early Years programs, Toronto Youth Job Corps, Youth Justice Services, West Scarborough Seniors Club, the Congregate Dining Group, and the Scarborough Italian Seniors Club

Here's how we can earn points for our ward (FYI: Ward 35 went from 26th place to 18th place in just one week).

Registering on Count Me In Toronto. PLUS individuals are entered into a draw for 1 of 4 Macbooks! www.countmeintoronto.ca
Recycling an old AC or dehumidifier this coming weekend and next at Home Depot in our Keep Cool Campaign. PLUS residents get a $25 gift card for every AC and $10 gift card for each dehumidifier.
Signing up for Peaksaver. PLUS after the installation customers will get a $75 shopping card.
Retiring their old fridge and having it recycled through the Great Refrigerator Roundup.
